NSV = (TOV − FW) × CTPL × MF × (1 − S&W)
GOV = TOV − Free Water
GSV = GOV × CTPL × MF
NSV = GSV × (1 − S&W/100)

GOV = hydrocarbon+S&W after free water; GSV = GOV corrected to base (×CTPL×MF); NSV = GSV minus S&W.

When is a meter factor applied?

For dynamic (metered) measurement, from proving. Static tank measurement uses 1.0000.
