  • Vdesign = K·√((ρl−ρv)/ρv); K (York ~0.35 ft/s) derated for pressure.
  • Face velocity = Qgas/((π/4)D²); design 75-100% (>100% re-entrains).
  • ΔP ∝ (V/Vdesign)² × thickness; standard mesh removes ≳3-5 µm.
